Injured bikers discharged from hospital

Police have issued an update on the conidtions of two teenage bikers injured in a crash on the Mountain Road.

The Douglas men were taken to Noble's following the collision at Kate's Cottage yesterday evening.

Initially officers said the pair had sustained serious injuries, but now say their injuries are less significant than first thought.

The 17 and 19 year old have since been released from hospital.

The road was closed for over three hours whilst police investigations were carried out.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or either of the vehicles immediately before, is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit at Police Headquarters.
