Southern 100 begins

The Southern 100 gets underway this evening on the Billown cicuit.

Defending solo champion Guy Martin was forced to pull out of the event, as he continues to recover from his crash during TT.

Cameron Donald and Ian Lougher are amongst the big names competing this year.

In the sidecar competition, last year's winners Carl and Ian Bell, face tough competition from this year's double TT winning duo Klaus Klaffenbock and Dan Sayle.
