The Reciprocal Health Agreement with the UK will be on the agenda again at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
Onchan MHK Peter Karran will ask Chief Minister Tony Brown if he is confident that a new agreement will be in place by the end of September.
Former UK Health Secretary Andy Burnham agreed a six month deal earlier this year, due to expire on September 30th.
After next week's sitting, Tynwald is not due to sit again until October.
Health Minister David Anderson has previously contacted Andrew Lansey, who took over the role of Health Secretary for Britian following the General Election there in May.
The Government has previously indicated that it expects a new long term agreement to be reached before the current one runs out.
