A former Labour MP who supported the Isle of Man over the Reciprocal Health Agreement negotiations will be a guest at this year's Tynwald ceremony.
Andrew Mackinlay, who stepped down at the general election in the UK earlier this year, lobbied the last British Government when it was announced the Reciprocal Health Agreement with the UK would be scrapped.
Former Health Secretary Andy Burnham agreed to a new deal just weeks before the arrangements were due to expire.
Michael MHK David Cannan suggested Mr Mackinlay be invited to the Tynwald ceremony for his efforts in a House of Keys sitting earlier this year.
