The qualifying round of this year's Isle of Man Close Amateur Championship took place at Ramsey Golf Club on Saturday.
The course was a fair test to all 72 players that took part, with the weather impacting on some of the scores during the second round. Although it remained sunny throughout the day, it was the wind that added some spice to the day.
This didn't deter Chris Kneen however, as he was leading qualifyer on the day with a 3 under par 137, who finished 3 shots clear of defending champion Paul Lowey, and Ramsey's Davy Jones.
After play, the draw took place for the matchplay stage to be played on Tuesday from 4:30pm:
