Police warn of bank scam

Police are warning people on the Island of a phone scam that is currently being attempted by criminals.

A number of complaints have been made to Police about unsolicited calls claiming to be from the Isle of Man Bank, and attempting to draw information such as bank details.

Officers say your bank should never ring you asking for personal details.

They add that anyone who has given out details should ring their bank straight away

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police headquarters.
