Mark Cavendish has pulled out of the Tour of Switzerland after three teams protested against the leniency of his penalty for causing a crash on Tuesday.
The Manx cyclist collided with another competitor in stage four of the Tour, causing a mass pile up.
Three riders were forced to withdraw from the rest of the Tour due to injury, although Cav was able to continue.
He was given a time penalty, docked points and given a fine for causing the crash.
The teams of the riders who were injured protested during stage five, saying they wanted the cyclist to show more respect.
Team Columbia say Cavendish will be back for the Tour de France.
