Day Four: Swimming - Kinley in 100m Breaststroke Semi

The Island’s Laura Kinley finished 8th in the Semi Final of the Women’s 100m Breaststroke. 1m, 10.93 – Sadly she doesn’t qualify for the final.

At the Southport Aquatics Centre, the IOM’s Laura Kinley qualified for the Semi Finals in the 100m Breaststroke.

The 21 year old from Douglas finished 4th in a time of 1m, 9.71sec, it was a new personal best.

Her Teammate Niamh Robinson finished 6th in a time of 1m, 11.1sec, putting her on the reserve list.

We will update this story from the semi-finals this evening – The event starts at 9.08pm / 12.08pm BST.

Earlier today, Guy Davies missed out on a semi final placing in the 50m Breaststroke.

He set a time of 29.73sec, which is a new Island record.
