Day One: Triathlon Womens Final- 19th for Newbery

In the Triathlon, the Isle of Man’s Jennifer Newbery came 19th with a time of 1h-7min-18sec, 10min-28sec off the winner. (Flora Duffy – Bermuda).

Newbery held 18th during the 3rd and 4th lap of the bike sector, but dropped back a place during the first lap of the Run, when South Africa’s Simone Ackerman stole back 18th.
