Day Two: Manx athletes in marathon, gymnastics and swimming today

Day Two of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games is underway this morning.

Ollie Lockley will be the first Manx athlete in action as he takes on the Men's Marathon Final from 9am.

43-year-old Sarah Webster will compete in the Women's Marathon Final from 10:30am. Sarah came second in the mass race at last year's London Marathon.

Isle of Man Sportswoman of the Year, Tara Donnelly, will compete in the Artistic Gymnastics at Birmingham Arena from midday.

The 23-year-old is representing the Island for the second time after making her debut at Glasgow 2014.

Team Isle of Man swimmers will be back in action at the Sandwell Athletics Centre today following a positive day on the opening of the Games.

Peter Allen will compete in the Men's 200m Freestyle - Heat 2 at 10:33am, Alex Bregazzi is in the Men's 200m Freestyle - Heat 5 at 10:43am.

17-year-old Keira Prentice set a new personal best yesterday in her first Commonwealth Games. She will compete in the Women's 100m Breaststroke - Heat 1 at 11:24am.

Emma Hodgson will compete in the Women's 100m Backstroke - Heat 3 at 11:50am.

Team Isle of Man Men's 4x 100m Freestyle Relay is scheducled for this morning.
