Joey Coyne

Every Saturday night Joey Coyne brings you the very best in commercial dance, soul, funk and disco, but his first break in DJ-ing came in the late 1970's at the Spa Lounge in Cheltenham where he played import soul, funk and disco.

This gave him the grounding to move on to club work in Sweden, France and Italy. In the early 1980's the location for playing was a return to the UK and Birmingham, funkin' up the city in Bobby Brown's Club, his most memorable moment being playing Stevie Wonder's end of tour party, a true soul hero and gentlemen!
