Amy Mulhern

Amy Mulhern is the Head of News at Energy FM. 

She stumbled upon her career in radio accidently whilst hoping to become a graphic designer.  After a stint in the newsroom of another local radio station, she moved to Energy FM in 2006.   Amy is in her element when the newsroom is busy with plenty of breaking stories and is less fond of so-called ‘slow news days.’ 

 
Amy is a Manx lass through and through and is often teased by certain colleagues who say she is Energy FM’s staunch nationalist.  She grew up in Onchan but has now relocated to the west coast.

Outside of work, Amy has many hobbies, interests and passing fads.  These include water sports, photography and all sorts of other dorky things she doesn’t wish you to know about.  Amy can play several musical instruments including the guitar, mandolin and harmonica.  She has played in several local bands over the years and hopes to begin a new project in the near future.
