The Chief Minister is reassuring the public that the majority of people will be able to get medical insurance.

Tony Brown says some MHKs have been causing unnecessary concern amongst Manx residents, by claiming those with pre-existing medical conditions will be trapped on the Island.

The reciprocal health agreement with the UK is due to end on March 31st.

Onchan MHK Peter Karran has been given leave to introduce a Bill allowing the Government to bring in a levy on travel to and from the Island which would cover people if they were admitted to hospital.
