The Minister of Economic Development will be asked whether under-21s should earn less money for doing the same job as someone older.

Laurence Skelly's department are undertaking a review of the Island's minimum wage, which currently includes different levels for over-21s, 18 to 20-year-olds and under-18s.

Douglas North MHK David Ashford wants to know whether it's Mr Skelly's policy that 18 to 20-year-olds should earn a lower minimum wage than those 21 years old and over.

The Minister will provide his answer at next week's sitting of the House of Keys.
