Candidates must put public service first says President

Prospective MHKs have been warned it won't be an 'easy life' if they're elected at next month's General Election. 
 
It's been confirmed how many people will bid for the seats in the Island's 12 constituencies - this year marks the first that two will be chosen in each area. 
 
Yesterday marked Nomination Day where those seeking election to the House of Keys officially put themselves forward.  
 
Speaking at the final Tynwald sitting of the last administration President Steve Rodan said public service - and not pay - has to be the motivating factor:
