Trial for man who denies injuring police officers

A Douglas man who denies injuring two police officers following an armed stand-off in January will stand trial. 

23-year-old Christopher Seed appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday where he entered not guilty pleas to one charge of wounding with intent and one of ABH.

The charges relate to an incident on Taubman Terrace on January 16th - Seed has previously pleaded guilty to one count of affray from the same evening.

A pre-trial review will take place on June 1st where trial dates will be set - an application for bail was refused and Seed was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.
