3 million pound cash injection for Island

Fri, 27 Feb 2015

£3 million has been set aside to help improve local communities and the lives of people in need on the Isle of Man.

The Manx Lottery Trust will be distributing the money over the next five years - it's come from the Big Lottery Fund.

The money has been generated from people buying National Lottery tickets.

Grants of between £2,501 and £50,000 are on offer to community and not for profit groups, parish and town councils and schools.

MLT chairman Malcolm Kelly says it will be a massive boost for the Island:
