A 17 year woman from the Isle of Man has taken victory at at Major Equestrian Event in Shropshire.

Yasmin Ingham from Greeba was up against over 40 other International riders at the prestigious Weston Park International Horse Trials.

She was one of only 3 riders to finish on their dressage score at the end of 3 tough days of competition. Her winning mark of 46.6 was 3 marks clear of her nearest rivals.

Her victory in the CCI 1* at Weston cements a solid start to her partnership with Imperial Cavalier, owned by Sue & Eddie Davies.

Having only contested 7 events together, they have produced two international wins and 4 top 8 placings.

These results follow her fantastic year in 2013 when she was crowned British National Champion and Pony European Champion with her pony Craig Mor Tom.
